We're thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new, UK-produced kiln-dried mixed bags of both hardwood and softwood are now available! These bags are jam-packed with a variety of dense hardwoods and lighter, softer woods, offering you the perfect combination to get your fire started and keep it going! Logs Direct softwood is kiln dried and officially Ready to Burn. Our softwood is usually a mix of conifers (pine, fir, spruce and cedar) from sustainably managed woodlands. Our Kiln Dried hardwood logs are selected from the finest UK produced and manufactured mixed hardwoods and have been processed and undergone a full kiln drying process in our own manufacturing site in North Lancashire which means that they are ready to burn for your fire or wood burning stove. Light, clean and easy to handle. Their reduced moisture content ensures they burn hotter for longer increasing the efficiency of your stove. In terms of heat output, one kiln dried log is roughly equivalent to three unseasoned wood logs, making them more economical in the long run

Please note, we do not sell this as a 50/50 mix, but a good split of both hardwood or softwood. The exact number of logs contained in the bag depends on the species of the wood and the width of the logs, but we normally suggest the bag contains approx. 300 logs. 

The dumpy bag is big enough to keep a good number of our customers going for a full season of burning, depending of course on how often you light your stove, the bags measures 75cm x 85cm x 95cm, but of course is bulging out at the sides once filled
