Our quality topsoil contains no large stones (it is sieved to 12mm and some small stones are left for drainage) and is nice and light to rake out with a small amount of natural sand and PAS100 green compost added, to help break up the larger lumps of soil so that you can achieve a fine tilth. There may be very small woody biomass pieces still in the soil but these will break down quickly over the course of time. Please be aware that because this is a natural product dug from the ground there can always be small natural waste particles in it, and although we take every care whilst producing it we suggest that the product is checked thoroughly as it is tipped on the garden.
