Description
Vitax Organic Tomato Food is a super-concentrated, certified organic feed specially tailored to help you cultivate the tastiest, juiciest tomato crops. Packed with high-potash goodness, it fuels fruit development while keeping plants vigorous and productive.
Enhanced with magnesium, iron and naturally occurring trace elements, this feed fosters robust root systems and ensures optimal nutrient balance—key for rich flavour and lush growth. Because it contains no synthetic ingredients, it’s suitable for vegan gardening and safe to use around children, pets and beneficial insects, including bees.
One 1-litre bottle is highly economical, generating up to 50 watering cans or approximately 200 litres of feed—ideal for sustained seasonal feeding. Simply shake bottle, dilute one capful (20 ml) per 4 litres of water and apply as follows:
- In grow bags: Begin weekly feeding from planting out, starting with 1 litre diluted feed per bag. After the first flower truss sets, gradually increase to 4 litres per week. In protected environments, feed twice weekly after the second truss.
- Outdoor plants: Apply 2 litres of feed per plant every fortnight, increasing to once weekly after the second truss develops.
- Under cover: After the first truss sets, apply 2 litres per plant every other watering session.
