A dumpy bag of UK grown hardwood logs, kiln dried to below 20% moisture content, for those with a wider stove these longer logs are perfect for keeping the fire going so much longer, they measure in length approx 37cm / 14” long and generally are a wider cut log to enhance the length of burn in the fire, the bag usually contains a mix of Beech and Ash. Delivered in a dumpy bag and covered with water proof sheet for delivery, once the bags is used it can be taken to your local waste processing centre for recycling.

Our Kiln Dried firewood logs are selected from the finest hardwood grown in Britain, they are then collected and taken to our manufacturing facility in North Lancashire where they are processed and kiln dried and cleaned prior to despatch which means that they are perfectly dried and ready to burn on your open fire or wood burning stove. Light, clean and easy to handle, they also emit a delightful aroma when burnt. The performance of your stove is directly related to the quality of the wood you use. Our kiln dried wood has a moisture content between 10 and 20 percent, ensuring it burns hotter for longer and increasing the efficiency of your stove or appliance.
The exact number of logs contained depends on the species of the wood and the width and length of the logs. In terms of heat output, one kiln dried log is roughly equivalent to three unseasoned wood logs, making them far more economical in the long run.
